The 59th Bridge Street Song

Well March has practically flown by without a single blog post..so theres that! "WHAT IS THE DEAL!?" said in your best Grinch voice. {Yes, I'm still quoting the Grinch.. everythings the same! There's really no need to catch up!} But besides the usual Friends marathons, over-dosing on cheese, and quoting the Grinch... here's what I've been up too!

Mexican coke vanilla bean gelato floats at Burger Up.
I had to pass due to the fact that I ate every single sweet potato fry in the building. Can't I have just have the marathon burger for every meal? Who do I need to make a deal with... just gotta part with my soul or something?!

Birthday cake I decorated for my sister's birthday.
{You probably can't guess how old she turned.}
Also lets not talk about how I wasn't invited to the party this cake was for. Its like she is too cool for her awkwardly embarassing sister! Pssh!

Rock band marathons.
Boston- More than feeling.
The Police- Message in a bottle.
Blink 182- What's my age.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Maps.
Rocking 100% all day long. Does this mean I can be a profesh star guitarist now. Watch yo'self Jimi Hendrix! Jumping picture fail WIN!

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!
And loving Ali's way too awesome skirt.

G. LOVE!
Any man who can rock a harmonica likes that has my heart. {it doesn't hurt that he sings about cups of coffee and wine galore.} TO-TAL ladies man.
And had the gaggle of screaming ladies to prove it. I, of course, kept my cool. No I didn't.Going out dancing!
Bustin' a move while simultaneously avoided the creeptastic brah who wouldn't leave us alone! Flea market fun.
Why I passed on the opportunity of owning a larger than life size Darth Maul will forever haunt me. I mean he would of been a perfect addition to the living room.. right next to the end table!

Not pictured: gluing my hands together with krazy glue, dance sesh to B.Spears' new song, dreaming about Michael Moscovitz after watch Princess Diaries {FLASHBACK!}, cheese balls, cheesecake, my pretend sprang brake '11 {since I don't really get one..}, mini road trips to Chattanooga, popcorn buckets, and the day I drove around giving away 16 dozen free cupcakes.

The 59th Street Bridge Song- Simon & Garfunkel
Feelin' groovy d0000d!
I'm on a total Simon & Garfunkel kick right now. Thanks to a recent rewatching of The Graduate. A little "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme" when I'm cooking. And some "Sound of Silence" to start the day.

Hope your day is groovetastic!

  9. Can I please talk about the Darth Maul bit for a second?? I've seen this picture maybe 15 times, but I have so far failed to truly register that you're standing next to (and copying the stance of) a HUGE Darth Maul. How has this escaped me for so long? Wtf, dying of laughter...
