Wednesday, Thursday, happy days!

a few snap shots of happy things that happened.
and although i didn't take a picture of the tomato soup spilled all down my sweater that had just gotten a brutal tomato sauce spilling earlier that day {man, must've really offended the tomato plant recently!} i have to admit that made me smile. {now sweet mother of tide how do i get rid of this stain?!}

i always ask to do the fondant stars at work. customers can ask you whats the difference between white and chocolate cake. {insert me pointing to the door and kindly saying 'get out.'} but fondant never fails you. within minutes i'm surrounded by stars and i just became the first person who ate muffins on the moon.

sunflowers.
i'm thinking people don't realize how easy it is to become my favorite person ever. deliver zach galifankis to my front door or give me a bouquet of sunflowers! bam! numba one stunna in my life instantly.

serious egg dyeing adventures.
where and Eggward Cullen was created, watermelon eggs came about, metallic eggs shined and i had to name my friend the most brilliant egg dye-er in all the land. {p.s. happy late Easter}

i'm full on ramotional about Something Borrowed.
Darcy+Rachel=4eva.
reading this book in one day is my greatest regret ever. {except for that piece of cake i declined in the 6th grade.} i should of stretched it out! it was 2Good2BeTrUe! we won't talk about how teary eyed i get every time i see the preview for the movie. seriously we won't, i might start crying and i just did my makeup! {not pictured Trader Joe's dark chocolate edamame. SOMEBODY STOP ME!}

best blog friends who send you the most gorgeously dressed packages. it was almost sinful breaking into them. but then i remembered the handful of jellybeans i had for breakfast and i didn't think twice about it. opened it up to find this {george, brad, johnny, owen, and jake all on one tea towel!?} and justin bieber press on nails. let me repeat that for my oldies-but-goodies-80-yr-old friends in the back... justin bieber PRESS ON NAILS!!

my most favorite dog in the world. usually during movie times i need both my hands to balance my wine and twizzler combo but i make an exception for a cuddle buddy with Dash.

two for one:
nailing up shelves all by my single gal self.
new shampoo that tames my hair as to help me distance myself from my hair alter ego, little orphan annie's fro.

Wishing a happy day to everyone!

P.s. A giant, giant HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Memo!! For I love her with all my heart and wish her a day filled with cake, balloon bouquets, and Robert Redford!

  1. Chelsea, I read your blog religiously and have ever since last summer. You inspired me to start baking for fun (Cinnamon Banana Bread and your cookie/cake/pie amazingness). I discovered my passion and now I'm in culinary school for baking! Thank you so much for sharing your love with the world. Without you, I don't know if I'd be where I am today. :)

    This probably sounds so creepy, but I've always wanted to thank you for helping me find my true love in life!

    xx - Danielle

  4. if people actually ask the question about chocolate and vanilla earth, i am scared for society! and that spilling of tomato soup made me giggle because i managed to spill all of my ice coffee on myself yesterday!

    i have a sneaky feeling that if you and i started a cupcakery and pretended to eat muffins on the moon my life would be complete. *

    *and if jake gylenhaal was my full-time, live-in man-friend 4lyf.
