Summer is coming to an end and its so funny because I'm just as pale now as I was when summer started. Actually with all the hiding out inside I've been doing due to the unbearable heat in Tennessee I could very well be even paler. Summer was great and wonderful but I just ordered some tights so the seasons need to change accordingly. (As for the watermelon shaped hole in my heart, I think hot chocolate will fill that void just fine.) Here are a couple last snapshots of the summer.
The most wonderful Hatch Show Print.

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza that's amore!
(Yes, thats a pizza/my eye.)

Many summer adventures for goat cheese swirled with red cherries ice cream and impromptu stops for some prime time picture taking.

PANCAKE PARTY!
Tess and I got our brunch on this summer. Pancake Pantry might have been the winner (sweet potato pancakes with cinnamon syrup and blueberry pancakes with 4 lbs of butter. Sweet mother of Land O'Lakes!) but cheesey grits and banana french toast at J. Christopher's was a close second!

One of the 1000 homemade pizzas I managed to make this summer. Cheese, sauce, cheese, onions, cheese, spinach, and (hold onto your 5lb-hand-weights-as-hard-as-you-can-cause-I-sure-didn't-this-summer..) MORE CHEEZE!

OH NASHVILLE!
How I love you.
Should I count the ways?
NOT ENOUGH TIME!
Lots of flea market finds this summer. One trip ended with a jam packed car where the trunk was tied with rope. But I mean, like I'm supposed to pass up a $10 pale yellow tv stand.. UHH I think not! Also that wonderful white fence part is going to be used as Ali's headboard, cause she is a creative genius handy woman!
A true gem found at Goodwill.
Kiddies Christmas.
That is all, goodnight.

Summer 2011 was one for the books. But don't let the door hit you on the way out, back sweat, hot car seats and high electricity bills! I've already bought my autumn leaves candle from Yankee Candle so its about time you beat it, fool. Nobody likes you anymore, summer! (I was expecting to see my thermostat drop if I bullied summer out but apparently its just not taking it! I tried y'allz. It's like those Obama 'CHANGE' posters never even happened!)
Hope your day is outrageously wonderful!

Summer was fantastic and the word "Winter" makes me cringe, however I am looking forward to FALL!!!!!

I CONSUMED THOSE EXACT PANCAKES TWO WEEKS AGO. As you can see from the use of all caps, they obviously made an impact and kinda changed my life. I even blogged about them, too. And I want them. Now.
