Help me Rhonda!

I figured since the end of the world is coming this saturday then why not get in one last blog post. {P.s. I am so embarrassed by my blog post counts for 2011... only 12?! I'm officially depressed for myself.. get me a grilled cheese sandwich STAT!}

Interpol at the Ryman. Paul Banks, how are you so beautiful and so talented?! My mind can't fathom and my heart can't stand it! MARRY ME!
How are things on the west coast?
I hear you're moving real fine.
You wear those shoes like a dove.
Now strut those shoes we go roaming in the night.
Sublime Donuts on a mini Atlanta road trip.
Holy sweet cream and sugar. I didn't even know such goodness existed. I started off with the cream cheese danish {you think I got just one!?} and on the way back to good ole Tennessee I broke out the honey cinnamon donut and had a bite of the orange glazed star. I swear on my love to Jimmy Fallon, these are the world's best donuts. RUN to pick up a dozen and then another dozen to freeze so you can have them in a week.
Homemade banana pudding popsicle from King of Pops food truck. Hmm.. I am contemplating how to describe one of the tastiest treats and THE MOST delicious popsicle ever. Ryan Gosling swinging from star to star with you tuck under his arm and his ukulele strapped around his back.. a picinic candle light dinner waiting for you guys at the moon? Yes, that perfectly describes these popsicles.
Our version of flowers for mother's day at the cupcakery.
I was so proud of my purple "carnations" I just about crossed off "seeing my child graduate kindergarten" on my bucket list. But then I realized I would then never qualify for Real Housewives of Nashville.
I just adopted this little nugget.
Wensley St. Clair.
He likes Bravo tv, long walks on the beach, and tearing up all my toilet paper.
Orchids at Scott's Market in Atlanta.
Why do I not fall asleep in a sea of flowers every night? Is there no God?! Is Oprah just a mirage!?!

Hope your friday is fantastic and your weekend is filled with joyous adventures!

**I've had this one repeat all day. Do yourself a favor- have a scoop of butter pecan ice cream and fall in love the stripped shirts and ultimate dreaminess of The Beach Boys.

chatatatat.

this weekend i road tripped it up to chattanooga! finally. and it was filled with adventures, insanely delish food, laughs galore, an introduction to glee starting with the first episode {dare i say it... i'm a gleeker. "who is josh groban?? kill youself." }, and just plain old good fun with friends i wish i saw everyday. plus it doesn't hurt that the city is gorgeous and filled with good eats like MOJO BURRITOS {it's like moe's only freasher, better, cheaper, and did i say better? i want one now!} and aretha frankensteins where wait and hour and half for gigantor pancakes doesn't seem insane {when i say the pancakes were 5 inches thick they were 5 inches thick. plus they were jam packed with blueberries... so check off your daily fruit needs as you dig in to a fluffy cloud of delicious drenched in syrup and obviously some buttttah. paula would be proud!}

first thing first? hiking adventure into the depths of the wild jungle where lost is actually filmed! {okay maybe not but we found a perfect cave for sawyer to stash his stolen goods} but guess what.. tenneesee is beautiful!
{hey! look there's katie!}
THE BLUE HOLE.
we made it!
after i took a tumble crossing the water.
{of course!}
i almost lost a sock too. unbeknownst to me!
{thanks andrew for the quick rescue!}
hannah and erin {and virg} being oh so brave and jumping off the cliff. something i was to terrified {mostly of the icy cold water to do. ONE DAY!}
it was such a gorgeous day!
and gives me hope that spring hasn't left us yet!
and you know a weekend isn't complete without a little baking.
orange cupcakes that is!
orange smiles for orange cupcakes!
late night volleyball...
...where some of us took the opportunity to play 20 questions {where i chose cheetos and have consequently not stopped craving them ever since. must breakdown and buy them asap!} and simply die of laughter! i may or may not have been sore the next morning die to all the laughing.
reunited!
basically preparing for a week filled with papers and test after i weekend like that is like locking me up in meat filled room where i'm forced to eat gherkin pickles and watch south park and dancing with the stars combined. on repeat. i just want to go back to chat town and watch some glee whilst enjoying orange cupcakes! thanks for all the fun chattanooga!!

NOLA

this past easter weekend i joined one of my favorite families on an adventure to NEW ORLEANS! {i had never been!} it was tons of fun {"gooder... uh good"} i was sad it was over so quickly! but i guess responsibilities are a must. and i'm so thankful for the jam packed 3 day adventure!

a 7 hour car ride = lots of delicious treats, crazy games {20 questions- "is it brown?" "uh maybe" "is it a reptile" "hmm maybe" "is it a house pet" "ummm maybe" "does is have 4 legs?" "it might" ended up being a platypus!}, cabin fever, goofy faces, lots of music {beatles music marathon!}, a ten minute nap that feels like it was a 4 hour one, fast food restaurants and shady gas stations {jet pep anyone?}
lots of painters lined up on the streets reminded me of charleston! they were all so talented. and i love the fleur de lis all over the city! {i wanna be apart of the who dat nation!}
adrian was the best and did a charcoal painting of chels squared&zayne. {you can tell who isn't related. ha, my black hair and my awkward looking face. oh goodness!}
all the architecture was beautiful and so french inspired! walking around the french quarters made me dream of parisian sidewalks, nutella crepes, and quaint hotels! {we even walked by brad&angie's house. no shiloh sighting but the most intense security ever.}
there were still tons of beads everywhere. in the trees, streets, on balcony's. and all the masks were so ridiculously fun. {i'm working my eyes here as tyra would say. just a giant smile with my pupils!}
{filled with celeb memorabilia and voted best dive!}
only the most delicious waffles ever.
so many fun shops.
i especially loved this one filled with flower squirting pins, goldfish purses, tin lunch boxes & these animal masks. {they even had the masks from breakfast at tiffany's.}
i can't wait to go back. again and again. and again!

a few weekend highlights.

spontaneous trip to franklin for the weekend.
it was perfect in all its "lounging" glory.

{fog city.}
"i might or might not be driving on the wrong side of the road.."

crafts & cookies.
perfection.
and catching up on all my modern family episodes.
Manny: " Her name is Whitney. I met her in the online book club. We both like vampire fiction and the romance of eternal life"

baking, baking, oh and yeah more baking.
i had to go restock on flour and sugar midway.
my famous {well a few people know about them} cinnamon muffins

a lazy saturday afternoon complete with an hour of sunshine and a good book. {that may be Confessions of a Shopaholic. guilty pleasure read for sure. it's so good!}

mouth watering DELICIOUS. peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. easiest cookies i ever did make! 5 ingredients. no butter and no flour! who would have known!

mmm. so many muffins!

hope your weekend was more productive than mine! {i decided a weekend filled with crafts, baking, and reading was just what i needed -okay, wanted}. but sunday night was no fun with all my real responsibilities i had to face. that's for sure. "WHAT?! how is it 11:30PM already? so much for sleeping."}

p.s. i went out and bought me and "about me" section! click here or on the doodle of my name in the right hand column to get a glimpse into the world of chelsea.

EDIT: RECIPES to come tomorrow! sorry i'm such a teaser. ha!
