mellow mushroom overload.
game board marathons and favorite movies.
car rides with music blasting.

I had this problem where I moved back home... and no one I knew was left. It's sad but I like being able to build a new life somewhere old.

I understand this sentiment SO MUCH. In college, I missed my friends at home. And now that I've graduated and have moved back home, I totally miss my college friends lol. Why can't we just collect everyone we love in a little balloon that we can tote around for the rest of our days?

ReplyDeletei miss texas for all the same reasons...
but it makes going home that much more special eh? :)

This is a great post. I miss the weightless innocence of being a kid -- I miss summers spent entirely at the beach -- I miss eating pizza and never gaining weight. But... the trade-off for where I am today is worth it. (:
ReplyDeletei feel the exact same way. my family. my boyfriend. all {except ONE} best friend. in my hometown :( and i wish i was better at making friends because then it wouldn't be so bad. where are you from?
