nights with no expectations or real plans always turn out to be the best. spontaneous geocaching late at night and dance recitals that turn out the be belly dancing recitals end up being the most fun. as i ran out the door heading to a friends dance recital, i was preparing for a stuffy rendition of mozart's greatest hits. but instead i got a badass, inspiring, up close and personal night in arabia. and it took everything in me to not jump out of my chair and shout "WHERE DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES!?"
they were dancing with lit candles on their head!

i couldn't even keep a book on my head during etiquette clasess... alright let's be honest i never took any form of etiquette classes.
after belly dancing the only logical thing was to browse the iphones in search of geocaching apps! lo and behold we found! oh the magical powers of the iphone!
THE TARGET!
off we went in search of this treasure!
we went past the dragon in hillsboro village and went to where the "dog lounges", asked the manager to make sure we weren't crazy... {we weren't} we serched around and...
WE FOUND IT!
we signed it {TT and CG} and left it for other adventurous folk to find it!

ah!!! so much awesomeness in this post! first of all, belly dancing is so beautiful and hard! i would love to learn someday. it seems like it would be such a fun gift for a significant other. but candles on their head?!?! yikes! that's amazing.

Candles on their head! AHHH! When I was little, I danced ballet, and several times I tried to do it with a book on my head. Too clumsy.

Ah, that dancing looks like so much fun! And I feel left out... no iPhone here. I can see myself trying to explain to my Husby that we need to get them so we can go geocaching. Yes. He'd have a good laugh on that one.

One of my good friends is a belly dancer and it makes me want to pick up belly dancing classes myself. Who knows -- maybe it will help me be less uncoordinated. (I hope.)
