board game MARATHON!

lazy days where you stay in your pajamas till 3 and sprawl out on the floor while you play game after game are basically perfection. and thats exactly what tess and i did! 4 different games, snacks galore, and real housewives of new jersey playing in the background. {tessa is my sister, what do you expect?! another bravo addict!}
FIVE CROWNS!
aka the staple marathon starter game.
these cards are so worn down and loved.
and it might be one of the most addicting games.
OLD SCHOOL CONNECT FOUR!
and when i say old school i mean old school, this box is from the 80s. but we don't need the new fancy shamncy kind. this one was just fine! also i forgot how insanely fun this game is. we maybe accidentally played this one for about an hour.
MASTERMIND!
another old school treasure. i remember playing this when i was in elementary school. apparently its not as fun when you're older. we both figured out the "secret combination" within seconds.... NEXT!
if you've never played this than you must! after dueling the whole day and keeping track of points. i won. it was wonderful to end the day with a game where we were a team racing against the clock! also we got to act, draw, make rhymes and riddles galore! and we destroyed the clock. twice.
rolling a "cloodle" is my favorite. i get to display my messy squibble drawing artistic ability.
drawing out car wash.
i about died.
she drew a sponge with long fuzzy strings and a car.
but since we are like this i got it right away.
cat in the hat, girl scouts, las vegas, kermit the frog, paper airplanes, flamingos, roller skating, lumberjacks, and bears...OH MY!
WE WON!
HOORAY FOR BOARD GAME MARATHON DAY!
and sisters.
and laughs.
and triumphs over the clock.
and for pajamas.

hope your day is simply the greatest and filled with joy!

  7. Tessa is so adorable. And those games are all so much fun!!!! My sister doesn't ever want to play five crowns with me though. Once my best friend and I played against her and she lost by like 119 points. She is still bitter.
