what happens when you combine a freshly finished peanut butter jar and a love for oatmeal? OATS IN A JAR happens!! and it changes your life breakfast! FOREEEVVVEER! straight up, now try and tell me this isn't delicious! not only does it manage to get all the leftover peanut butter from the jar but its incredibly fun to eat out a a jar. {its like any second now the police is gonna come a knocking and take you to the clinker for eating out of the jar. THE THRILL!} thanks sara for the peanut butter insanity inspiration!
richard may be crazy about his peanut butter, but i'm crazy about OATS IN A JAR! {hey, maybe richard and i could hit it off. both strangely crazy about specific foods. YO RICH GIVE ME A RANNNG SOMETIME.. LETS KICK IT!}
CHELS-MANIA OATMEAL
big heaping 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup milk
more than a sprinkle, less than a cup, of cinnamon {but of course}
sprinkle of nutmeg
pinch of salt
1 giant Tbs brown sugar
{sometimes} a packet of splenda
combine everything but the brown sugar in a bowl and microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. then sprinkle brown sugar on top and enjoy! also blueberries added on top creates instant fruit wonderfulness.
no fail. this is how i always make my oatmeal!
now all i have to do is quickly go through another jar of peanut butter... commence all meals served with a side of peanut butter STARTING NOW!
hope your day is simply swell and filled with your favorite treats!
p.s. my lover- no not richard, my one and only true love joseph gordon levitt- made these shirts. is he trying to tell me something? like how the red dot in his heart is the love he has for me? holy shirtballs..
