and apparently these things trump blogging. or so it seems.
discovering way too many incredible things like how my DVR can record more than once thing at a time and that i have like a billion channels. who knew??? i didn't. so uncovering the mysteries that my tv holds is stealing my attention. one machine at a time.
finally learning to make coffee.
i've been a solid tea gal my whole life. oh whats that... "congrats" you say? no no no no. you see i never sleep as it is.. and i'm already way too energetic.. so add coffee to that {and yeah i maybe put like 10 TBS for two cups of coffee on my first try} and i cannot sit still, therefore getting on the computer is out of the question.
thanks to introduction of billions of gallons of coffee in my life i now run to the restroom every 5 minutes. {hey thanks bladder!}
star wars MARATHON!
{getting very addicted, i am. to see luke defeat his father, i must}
choosing the most awful and dreded times to go on a run. therefore barely making it back before i die of heat. {i live in tennessee so running at 1 in the afternoon probably makes the top 10 dumbest things i've ever done in my life} so doing anything besides focusing on breathing is impossible.
eating cold things to make up for sucide misson runs.
including but not limited to popsicles, frozen grapes, iced coffee i made myself {$#$@!*^@!!}, watermelon, and various other treats.
spamming my twitter with updates on my star wars marathon.
dance parties with my little sister.
{thanks to excess of caffeine and sugar. and to catchy songs like california girls and break your heart} RAVE!
taking 5 billion showers a day to stay cool.
reading!! a recent trip to the library left me with 5 books and 2 weeks to read them all. i gotta hop to it. thats an average of 140 pages a day! where my glasses at?!!
mourning at the fact i had to pay $50 bucks for a new camera charger. and doing so with cold treats {see above} and not doing the dishes.
and for kicks to appease the government just in case they are keeping tabs on me {i'm such a threat} .... celebrating amurrica and being uber patriotic.
and other adventures that my coffee induced A.D.D. just won't let me finish rambling about.

happy HAPPY joyful DAYS to you! {to you!}

i love this post. you are one of my most favorite writers ever. forget j.r. tolken or c.s. lewis.
ReplyDeletethose are certainly worthy things to steal your attention from blogland.

your sis is adorable. i have dance parties with my lil sis too. and we happened to dance to justin bieber one time. i thought of you.
Hey TN! This was veryyyy similar to reading about my past week! Last week I began my own Star Wars marathon for my winter! Watch it in different hemispheres we will:) & I went to the library too for copious amounts of books and magazines and cds, mmmm & I've been running too! But like I said.. it's cold here now but yeah I hate running in extreme summer heat. Thanks for the comment on my blog, you're a such a sweety :)

ReplyDeleteI love going to the library too, and picking out way more books than I could read by the time they're due!
ReplyDeleteCoffee is both a blessing and the bane of my existence. A blessing because, well, it's coffee...DEEELICIOUS! The bane of my existence because it plagues my bladder.

ReplyDeleteI just checked my TV, and I have about a hundred and so channels. I thought I had like 20!!!

ReplyDeleteI love pretty much everything you talked about in this post--coffee, DVR in the summer, and books! What did you get from the library? I'm reading a book called An Italian Affair that Micaela sent to me (http://dolcevitamicaela.blogspot.com) and I LOVE it. Can barely put it down. And now that it's summer, I actually have time to read--it's amazing!

ReplyDeleteHaha!!! I just started making coffee too! I've always been a tea girl.... I put in 3 tablespoons of water..... um, jessica simpson moments... yes. Do I finally have it down now, absolutely!
ReplyDeleteha ha! I love coffee. And I also put my laptop on the top of my desk so I can stand up the whole time I'm blogging, because I don't like sitting down, especially after coffee!

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, once I tried to drink coffee and everyone told me I was too little to drink coffee (I'm pretty short) and I'd be bouncing off the walls. I'm a tea drinker, though.
