SOOOO my intentions with this blog was to be completely honest no matter what. And let me just say 4 days in and I already want to break it! Don't you hate when something happens that is completely and utterly YOUR fault so you can't even blame anyone else to make yourself feel better! haha. Well this was me today. It all started with the fateful flashes of blue lights from
the police car that was pulling me over for expired tags. EXPIRED TAGS! I mean it wasn't even something hardcore like speeding. BUT don't worry it gets worse. {little history, did get a speeding ticket and did the whole traffic class education in april...but I failed to realize that you had to turn in a certificate for completing the class...} so as soon as he looks up my license he comes to tell me that my license is SUSPENDED and he takes it away. He takes it away. Gone. NOOOOOOOO...
BUT thankfully it was a nice Mr. Officer and he said someone could come pick me up but he said that usually he would arrest the person.
Let's see how that would of gone:
"Hey who wants to come get me out of jail" she says.
"We are broke. We will come and get you in a month." her family.
"Oh." she says.
BUT it did not come to that and my most FABULOUS and
wonderful friend Stephanie came to my rescue and we were able to continue our venture to lunch and beyond {an hour later after we were supposed to.. woops.}
Kind of a damper to the day huh? You wouldthink... BUT I got to go to
PANCAKE PANTRY with one of my best friends. and it just doesn't get
better than that.
But before I came to peace with the idea of no more driving {since let's be honest.. broke college student. getting that license back ain't gonna happen.} I kept beating myself up over the fact that I was that irresponsible to let a sheet of paper get away without being turned in and having to pay BILLIONS of dollars {might as well be} for that mistake. Coulda Shoulda Woulda. NEVER got you ANYWHERE and it turned out to be splendid day.
Pancakes, flapjacks, hot cakes... it's all bread. And its ALL served at PANCAKE PANTRY!
QUOTE OF THE DAY from Miss Stephanie-"My new year's resolution is to watch more t.v."
this little dragaon never ceases to crack me up everytime I'm in Hillsboro Village.
I appreciate Nashville more and more everyday!
SO I made some PUUPY chow for my friend who I am seeing tomorrow for the first time in forever and it just looked to good to resist.I might have stolen a bite or two {plus six}.
MY SECRET: I double the chocolate,
PEANUT BUTTER, butter MIX but keep the rice chex at the same amount! Makes it extra DELISH!
SO after looking back on my day I couldn't help but notice what was right in front of me. There it is.. always waiting for me when i get home. And if you look closely you can see some of my favorite things. My wonderful laptop, my trusty TV to watch FRIENDS and GREY's ANATOMY, my journal, my phone, my incredibly smelling HOLIDAY candle, {the christmas tree I refuse/too lazy to take down}, my red nail polish, my {8th} cup of water{!!!}, and last but not least the incredibly cool PARRAFFIN hand wax machine that makes my hands SO soft and is so fun to play with that I got from my sister for christmas. And that was enough to send me to sleep with smiles and happy thoughts.

aww that's so unfortunate, but your attitude about it is amazing!

ugh what a nightmare about your driving experience! i would have been beside myself sobbing for sure.
Haha oh dear. I never got my drivers license, so its okay. I tried to make the chocolate zucchini bread tonight and failed. Its because I tried to make it healthier than it is supposed to be. I'll try again and then post the recipe. The REAL recipe. Not the healthy version that is garbage, in my opinion.
