the breakfast of champions.
the secret to wonderwoman's wonderness
and the snack of my childhood.
peanut butter lollipops.
basically combining the two great wonders of the world.
sugar and peanut butter.
i remember as a kid using my pink airplane spoon, laying on the carpet with my bff caitey watching aladdin as we scooped and sprinkled out little hearts out.
just spoon out a giant hunk of your fave peanut butter. dip it {my way of choice for optimum sugar coating} in some suguh {anyone singing the 60s classic sugar, sugar, aw honey honey by wilson pickett nope.. no one? i maybe didn't have the most normal childhood. i grew up listening to the oldies and thinking peanut butter dipped in sugar was a well-balanced meal!}
its like fresh snow on the canadian olympic mountains!
no fear. i have a healthy version too.
{yes, it's basically calorie free!}
reduced fat peanut butter.
splenda.
release your inner 10 yr old and try this tasty snack today!
{go on with yo bad self}

you have just given me heaven!!
ReplyDeletethere's nothing i love more than peanut butter.... except perhaps the idea of it with sugar!
(and you're not alone, i totally grew up on oldies... and i know and love that song. hehe)
thanks.
for my breakfast choice from now til forever.
<3

ReplyDeleteHey Doll Internet is still not working gosh! But am replying to my fave followers with my Friends Notebook…….I love this post so much and I’ll tell you why am a major fan of Peanut Butter!!! I love the Trader Joe’s “Better’n Peanut Butter” it is fantastic!! Why because “Better’n Peanut Butter” contains 2g Fat and 100 calories per serving VS 16g of Fat and 190 Calories in regular peanut butter and hey it has Low sodium and organic …..I sound crazy hahahaha!! But I think you should try it, it has a different but good taste I love it♥….And how I love the Oldies I grew up with them my mother loves The Beatles how could I not! I would wake up every Sunday morning with the smell of pancakes and The Beatles……….thanks for visiting doll! Love the post♥
ReplyDeleteOooh Yummmmy! Maybe after lent! :( I'm giving up candies....oh the torture.
ReplyDeleteusually i just go with peanut butter on a spoon...no sugah :)
ReplyDeleteand "the secret to wonderwoman's wonderness", that made me laugh :)
o wow. that looks intense. Maybe me and boys will have a night soon where we sit around and eat pb & sugar while talking about our feelings. It could happen..
ReplyDeleteoh..loverly..splenda.blah.
ReplyDeleteBUT your snack SOUNDS good. :D
oh.my.god.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about the healthy version. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right (or wrong, if you're on a diet).
ReplyDeleteBut can you imagine peanut butter dipped in brown sugar? Now that would kill my thighs. I dip wet spoons in brown sugar anyway...might as well add the PB.
it does look like fresh snow! how cute! :)
ReplyDeleteohhhh deeelish!
ReplyDeleteand not only did I listen to oldies as a kid I also watched nick-at-night and my favorite tv show growing up was Murder She Wrote-- oh what a nerd I was!
i LOVE peanut butter! i'm a huge fan of vegetable soup too and if you put some peanut butter in the soup... TRUE YUMMINESS!!! seriously.
ReplyDeleteI must say I am a bit nervous... won't it make me thirsty... but I do love Peanut Butter!!! Maybe I will drizzle some honey on there. Wishing you the best day sweet lady! xo
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up!
ReplyDeleteWow, that sounds crazy good (and dangerous!). I love that photo of you - adorable!
ReplyDeleteDayum it wummun I'm supposed to be on a diet! Peanut butter is more or less my favourite thing ever, especially the American variety... mmm mmm, buttery goodness.
ReplyDeleteP.S Is your email working right again yet? Because you've just got to love the inspirational title I've set you for your guest post.
Oh I love peanut butter so much. When my friend came back from the US with Reeses peanut buttercups i nearly ate them all in one sitting.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Oh my... I never really liked sugar as a kid {weird, I know! but I did grow up with oldies}, but I LOVED putting doritos in my sandwiches and then smashing the crunchy sandwich flat and eating it. I have no idea why that was so great but it was! Oh kids...
ReplyDeleteChelsea. Thanks to you i have been walking around the house for 2 days straight with peanut butter in one hand and a jar of sugar in the other.
ReplyDelete{and then running back to the kitchen for another PB&J sandwich}
Stop suggesting these delicious things!!
next you are going to say melt some chocolate and sprinkle with sugar... oh wait thats a brownie... yum... brownie!
and that song. i cannot believe u know it! i was a tad obsessed with it. i remember one tantrum i played the chorus over and over on full volume for like 3 hours. funny thing was i was most likely thinking it was about sugar and not about boys :) haha
Peanut butter straight from the jar--heaven!
