aka my 5th favorite HOLIDAY!
i'll be celebrating by having an all day pancakes-for-every-meal marathon! IHOP actually gives out a free pancakes! {so you know it's legit} go on over there for some breakfast, and maybe even lunch. and then for dinner make your favorite at home?! {too much? maybe.. but its only once a year! and theres no month long season.. its one day! go big or go home right?}

don't worry i've gathered some recipes to make this the best pancake day you've ever had! my favorite pancakes? SWEET POTATO PANCAKES. {this is the recipe i use- delicious} but Joy the baker's carrot cake pancakes sound DIVINE. and for all the pickle lovers {yeah, you know who you are!}- your love is tested with these pickle pancakes. and you know someone is serious when the make a www.thepancakerecipe.com!

carrot cake pancakes sound delicious!! unfortunately, my roommates think the combo of baked goods and carrots is disgusting. so blueberry pancakes it is :) happy pancake day!

ReplyDeleteI might be going to find me some pancakes for lunch today. Especially some that look like that second photo - YUM! Yesterday was National Margarita Day and today is National Pancake day. God loves us ;)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh! It's the 'Horton Hears A Who' pancakes!! I SO ate those delectable things! And yes...I even accompanied them with the drink. Which...didn't even come close to rivaling the tastiness of the pancakes. (it was sprite with chunks of red and blue jello in it...not the most delicious creative drink ever)

ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was such a thing as pancake day! I am NOT a fan of pancakes, but I do like crepes, which pretty much are thin pancakes. I can't believe I blogged about crepes last night without knowing that it was pancake day today. COINCIDENCE.

Today in my philosophy class, we were going over current events, and all anyone knew was about the pancakes. Haha.
My philosophy teacher just hung her head and was like, "You know you're in college when all you care about are free pancakes..." :P
